Ceramics At Home! With Ariana  (7-12) 6 sessions

Instructor: Ariana Sturr 

 

Ceramics at home!

In this course we’ll use oven bake and air dry clay to create all sorts of ceramic items! You’ll learn how to make classic forms like bowls, plates, and vases by hand. We’ll also craft colorful clay jewelry and animal figurines. Students will learn the basics of hand-building with clay giving them the tools to sculpt whatever they can imagine!

 

 

Supplies Needed:

1 package of White air dry clay (5lbs)

1 package of Terra cotta air dry clay Polymer clay (an assortment of colors)

Acrylic paints - red, yellow, blue, white, black

Mod Podge: matte or gloss

Paint Brushes (at least two, one large one small)

Fork & butter knife for cutting/sculpting clay (plastic works great) or a ceramic tool kit

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Prior to one week before start of class will be refunded or transferred. (Transfer is good for one year.) Cancellation less than on week prior to first day of class or after class begins will not receive a refund or transfer. If the Sebastopol Center for the Arts cancels a class, you will receive a full refund.
